Colt 45

As humble as they are determined, Colt 45 were still riding on the excitement of signing a record deal with Visible Noise the day before the surprise headline slot at CockRock 2013, and it’s certain this won’t be the last main stage these boys will play. Their electric live set, peppered with angst and raw intelligence is set to explode as the band prepare for the re-issue of their previously released EPs & live shows up and down the country.

The re-issue will include the hugely anthemic hits “Happiness Is A Dying Art” and “Everybody Will Let You Down” along with fully re-mastered versions of both Chasing Yesterday and Inside The Triangle. The band describes the release as – “the perfect way to celebrate the last 3 years for COLT 45.”, and Drummer Adam Lewis explains that “The tracks on the album have appeared on our last 2 EP’s and we’re extremely happy to be releasing them on one record which sums up the last few years of touring, writing and recording.”

Having recorded both previous EPs with Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral For A Friend, Kids In Glass Houses, The Blackout) and shared stages with Young Guns, Lower Than Atlantis and The Subways over the past couple of years; this release marks a brand new chapter for this badass trio of Cumbrian punks. Their signature rapid-fire rhythms, husky lead vocal and fine-tuned melodies will forever sit at the heart of COLT 45’s live performance, and it’s a sure thing these boys from up North are here to stay.
