Information

Food

No drink of any description will be allowed to be brought into at Moonfest. We do not allow anyone to bring food on to the site and we ask that you do not bring any glass with you. We will be running several food stalls (including vegetarian) all day and there will be an ice cream provider on site.

Bars

There will be a bar on site open during the event serving alcoholic and soft drinks.

You must be over 18 years of age to purchase alcohol. We operate a ‘Challenge 21’ policy. If you look under 21 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18. Forms of ID we accept: Driving License, Passport, plus the following cards (part of the PASS scheme www.pass-scheme.org.uk): CitizenCard, VALIDATE UK and Connexions Card.

Anyone who attempts to bring alcohol into the site will have it confiscated.

Lost Property

Any lost property will be safely stored. A log will be taken of any items handed in. Should you lose anything please contact the nearest steward. Arriving at Moonfest

All visitors will be required to go through the security check point on arrival. Security reserves the right to search any customers and their possessions when entering the Moonfest site. The right of admission is reserved by Safe & Sound Security (Cumbria) Ltd and refunds will not be given to anyone refused entry because they appear to be under the influence of drink or drugs.

Offensive weapons, illegal substances, alcohol and glass may not be brought onto the Moonfest site.

Entrance Policy

We have a number of restrictions for entrance onto the event site:

  • No alcohol
  • No glass
  • No food (except baby food, but NOT in glass jars please)
  • Admission is subject to search
  • Dogs are not allowed unless they are guide dogs.
  • The event takes place on an active rugby pitch so please clear any mess your dog makes.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse admission
  • No illegal substances

On-Site Facilities

Food Concessions, Bar, First Aid and Toilets.

Camping

There is strictly no on-site camping. You must make full arrangements to leave the site following the show.

Music

The concert will take place on stages in the festival arena. There are no covered or seated areas apart from the Family Zone and VIP Marquee.

Cash Machines

There is no cash machine at the event. The nearest is at Morrisons across the busy main road. Please make sure you bring enough cash with you as you don't want to spend your time having to go for more!

Age Restrictions

There are no age restrictions although customers under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Noise

Leaving Moonfest

At the end of the concert, in the early hours of each morning, there will be a large number of people leaving the site, so we ask you take your time and be patient. Please respect our neighbours and leave the site quietly. We also ask that you leave the site as you find it and make sure you dispose of litter in the bins provided.
